Party Time on the Sci-Fi Party Line Podcast

The Sci-Fi Party LineLast week I had the pleasure of being a guest on the Sci-Fi Party Line podcast. I was invited to come on episode 39 of the podcast hosted by Cat ( @fancyfembot ) and Eric Escamilla ( @Bullitt33 ).

The Wedding of Sarah Jane SmithIn it, we discuss The Sarah Jane Adventures episode, The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith which guest stars David Tennant, the preview clip of Dreamland (the new animated Doctor Who adventure), and the upcoming Doctor Who special, Waters of Mars. We even ponder on the upcoming new series starring Matt Smith with Steven Moffat. Plus we touch upon Torchwood as well in this episode.

Louise Jameson in 1984

I'm off to see Louise Jameson (Leela in Doctor Who). This may be the first time seeing her since I first met her in 1984, also in Manhattan at a convention there. She was the first person I believe I met directly connected to the long running television series.

It will be good to see her again.

The photo here is from when I saw her in '84.

Apple TV Gets A Make Over

I quickly snapped this screenshot image with my iPhone after updating to the latest Apple TV software (3.0). It sports a completely redesigned top menu interface. I still need to explore more of it for other major changes.

The one thing I do hope is that this upgrade resolves the problems I would sometimes encounter when syncing with iTunes after iTunes 9 came out.

Ian throws out his standard fare of unusual questions at me and I supply some daft answers in this 9 minute episode. We cover ice cream inventions, Life on Mars, Ashes and Ashes, soda, aliens, and much more.

Ian Todd has interviewed everyone from David Cross, Toby Hadoke, to our own James Naughton (Doctor Who: Podshock and Hitchhiker's Guide to British Sci-Fi)
